MyFC Legal Team

The MyFootballClub Legal Team has been active in the purchase of Ebbsfleet United F.C. by MyFootballClub, and has also answered certain legal questions posed by the group's membership on the MyFC Forum. Charles is only known member of the MyFC Legal Team.
The MyFootballClub project has gotten outside legal advice from DLA Piper, which is one of the largest and best known law firms in the world. Michael Fiddy, a partner at DLA Piper, is widely recognised as a leading expert in sports law (specialising in football) and acted as Managing Director of Fulham F.C. between 2000 and 2001. Fiddy has advised MyFC and has also joined as a member.
Additionally, there are more than 20 MyFC members of from the management accountants Deloitte1. Deloitte has a specialist sports group that has been one of the companies conducting the due diligence process on MyFC's purchase of Ebbsfleet United.
Dan Jones, Partner at Deloitte and Editor of the Annual Review of Football Finance: “The MyFootballClub ownership model is an innovative way of funding a lower league club. Reports of having raised over £700,000 in 11 weeks suggests it is viable too. The Sports Business Group at Deloitte has been following its progress with interest, and we're now looking forward to offering our experience in football finance to assist with advice and guidance during the due diligence process.”2
Currently, it is unclear if the people associated with DLA Piper or Deloitte are considered to be members of the Legal Team or not.
