The ladies team was formed in 1998 and has always had strong links with the club at the Fleet, although the last few seasons partnership working with the men's and youth sections has seen Fleet Ladies and Girls go from strength to strength, and the side has benefitted from the support by rising up the leagues.

Ebbsfleet United ladies team is the second-highest placed team in Kent, and has an ambitious and professional setup whilst maintaining the importance of having a strong team unit and providing a good player development programme.

[edit] Matches

The ladies first team plays in the London & South East League and opposition includes Tottenham, Woking and Long Lane LFC. We also enter the Women's FA Cup and Kent County Women's Cup throughout the season.

The ladies' home ground is Fleet Leisure Ltd and all matches are played on Sunday afternoons at 2.00pm. The club's future intentions include continuing to build links within the community representing Ebbsfleet United FC, further promotion of the ladies' first team and building up a girls reserve/youth section to academy standards, forming a solid base at the club for the future.

[edit] Community involvement

Ebbsfleet United Ladies and Girls section run coaching sessions, after-school clubs and schools tournaments through their Girls Football Development Programme currently aimed at 7–16-year-olds. We will also be supporting the Football in the Communities soccer schools by trying to get more girls involved in football.
