Blue Square Premier division
From FleetWiki
The Blue Square Bet Premier is the current name of the Conference National, which is the 5th tier in the English football league pyramid. It is the highest division outside the Football League and promoted teams go into League Two, the lowest division of the Football League.
24 teams play in the league. The team that finishes top of the league at the end of the season is promoted to League Two. 2nd to 5th position clubs play in a play off, with 2nd playing 5th and 3rd playing 4th in a two legged semi final round. The winner of each semi final goes onto a final played at Wembley Stadium, with the winner of that game promoted to League Two.
The teams which finish in the bottom four positions in the league are relegated to either the Conference North (Blue Square Bet North) or the Conference South (Blue Square Bet South).
