[edit] Ground

[edit] Notes:

Ground capacity 7,500 (less than 2,000 seats). Attendances last year 2,360. The ground was donated to the people of Aldershot some years ago and can only be used for recreational use (when the previous club went bust the ground couldn’t be sold to pay debts). Aldershot pay £19,000 per year rent and about £60,000 per year in maintenance. Nice little ground with good atmosphere. Reading reserves play their matches here. Club is currently owned by John McGinty. Financially the situation is tight and McGinty has had to put in some money. The supporters trust is also investing some money in return for shares. Population 33,500. - doheochai
